How do I control crane flies?

 Since the banning of pesticides / insecticides in Ontario, I had a snowball in crane flies in my lawn. They are indeed everywhere, and while they are not harmful to man, my son is appalled them, and therefore is not in the court (he is 2).

Winter rains and spring throughout California have led to a bumper crop of grasses and plants that provide fire, if fire managers expect a normal fire season overall, officials said Thursday .

Already this year, approaching 400 fires broke out over land managed by the subdivision of California forest protection and fire that occurred on the same date last year, acting head of the agency said Ken Pimlott .

But the extra moisture has a setback that will help firefighters - at least for now.Trees and plants will continue to be heavy wetter longer, which means more forest fires will last long after slight burnt grass.

CalFire is the front office for 31 million acres of land across the state.
