Q: What was your naked Industry Pest Management before joining Copesan?
A: I started the "parasite government" part of my career at SC Johnson - they have made parents Raid products - and has been in the business side of the marketing company offering Bolt line of pesticides (the commercial version of the raid). Indiana Territory was my genuine sale and I decided to get my commercial applicators of pesticides to validate that I can better understand how to sell products to end users.I attended the Purdue Pest Conference on Governance at the time too, and heard and met a number of persuasion in our industry, talented people like Dr. Austin Frishman and Dr. Gary Bennett.
Even after I moved in SC Johnson, I recognized the importance and necessity of pest management services. I saw what it was like to be an engineer since I sold offering universities including Indiana University Purdue and who treated the pest in the quarter. So when I arrived at Copesan, I was not totally surprised by what I saw.It was refreshing and pleasant change from a manufacturing to a nearby service environment. Like the end of the company's service!
