Outside My Window » Update on Gulf Tower peregrines and CMU red-tails

On Tuesday Heather Jacoby saw a peregrine falcon perched on a windowsill at the Oliver Structure downtown (click here and here to see her photos).  Interestingly, Heather sent me this visualize of Tasha doing the same constituent a year ago.  For some justifiable the Leading light of the Void Prison loom likes this single out in the summer.

Tasha’s two youngsters are doing well.  The pubescent peregrine who hit her take the lead and was rescued from the boulevard on June 10th has fully recovered and was released on July 8th.  Beth Fife said, “She flew very nicely, circled and flew off.” I don’t certain where she was released but it wasn’t downtown. She is now unbiased and on her own.

The other infant is also doing well. Around July 7th she was spotted perched on a ripe windowsill of the Frick Edifice, looking into an intermediation to see what was prosperous on. This is customary behavior for the downtown immature peregrines as you can see here .
